Product description

A Convincing Performance

As a joint development between the Lauf and Zweibrücken locations, the AC 5.250-2 makes a compelling case: Its lifting capacities are up to 30 percent higher than previous best values in this class, and its 70-meter main boom can be extended by a good 42 meters with a HAV main boom extension. Also notable: All available extensions from 5.8 to 36 meters are self-rigging. The various transportation configurations are also extraordinary: The AC 5.250-2 can carry a three-sheave hook block for lifting loads of up to 67.3 tonnes or a 5.8-meter heavy-lift runner on board while remaining within a 12-tonne axle load configuration.

In addition, the crane features many of the latest Tadano features – examples include the IC-1 Plus and Surround View systems, and a start-stop function that turns off the crane engine at the press of a button but without deactivating the control software. Finally, eco mode ensures that the engine always outputs the exact amount of power that the crane actually needs at any one time.
