Peinemann takes delivery of two Demag AC 55-3 all terrain cranes

Dutch crane service provider Peinemann has clearly acquired a taste for Demag: After having put three Demag three-axle units into operation some time ago, the company now followed that up with two new Demag AC 55-3 all terrain cranes. “The excellent performance of the Demag three-axle units has definitely won us over – they really have proven their worth time and time again, especially in projects at petrochemical facilities,” company owner Peter Peinemann says while explaining his decision to acquire the two new Demag AC 55-3 cranes. Gertjan van de Werken, head of the Crane Division at the Peinemann Group, adds: “When it comes to Demag, it’s not just the quality of the cranes that’s right for us. It’s also the support services they provide, and these are absolutely outstanding.”

Both of them are already excitedly looking forward to the first few projects for the two new Demag cranes: “What we’re really interested in is seeing how the innovative IC-1 Plus control system together with the Flex Base improves the cranes’ performance. With Flex Base, the outriggers can be positioned at any point in their available range. And the truth is that our crane operators are dying to use these features,” they comment.
