Hovago orders nine Tadano cranes

In the year of its 75th anniversary, Dutch crane service provider Hovago has treated itself to a special kind of gift and ordered no fewer than nine cranes from Tadano: three AC 5.220-1 and two AC 5.250-1 all terrain cranes, two GTC-1800EX telescopic crawler cranes and two CC 38.650-1 lattice boom crawler cranes. The first models will be delivered in the fourth quarter of this year, giving Hovago its first major crane package under the harmonized Tadano brand and with new product designation.

Originally, the 3-member Hovago delegation consisting of owner Doron Livnat, International Sales Manager Tiemen Reitsma and Operational Manager Paul Staps, had traveled to Zweibrücken to get information about different cranes and conditions. However, the talks with Tadano Demag CEO Jens Ennen and Tadano Demag Vice President Sales Thomas Schramm went so well that the contracts were signed immediately. Also at the table were Sales Manager Key Accounts, Uwe Schlicher, and Tadashi Suzuki, CEO Tadano European Holdings.

“We are absolutely convinced of the quality and innovative strength of the Tadano brand. In the past 30 years, Hovago have bought hundreds of Tadano cranes to our full satisfaction”, emphasizes Doron Livnat. That is why he also supports the decision that all cranes will bear the uniform Tadano brand name in the future: “From my point of view, this is only logical,” he emphasizes.

He therefore expressly welcomes the fact that the machines ordered will already bear the new Tadano branding, including the new product designations, when they are delivered. He is also pleased that the order will enable him to broaden his fleet in terms of brand diversity in the future: “We Dutch generally have a very open attitude – narrowing down is simply not our thing,” he explains jokingly.

Of course, Tadano CEO Jens Ennen is also pleased about this, and he also thanked Doron Livnat for his constructive feedback during the talks: “Our long and friendly relationship with such important customers as Hovago thrives on this exchange at eye level.” An assessment that was echoed by Tadashi Suzuki: “We like it when customers give us open feedback. That is also an expression of trust.”

Because of the product quality and the trusting relationship, Hovago has been using cranes from Zweibrücken for nearly half a century and is currently the largest fleet owner of Demag CC 3800’s operating 15 units worldwide in wind and industry configurations. Doron Livnat is very positive about the international market: he sees good opportunities for the further expansion of wind power – which is one of the reasons why he also ordered Boom Booster Kits for the two CC 38.650-1 crawler cranes.
